Need a healthy taste of summer during this snowy cold winter weather? Check out this Strawberry, Smoothie recipe with mango and banana. And, experiment a little by exchanging or adding fruit that you really like. With smoothies that’s part of the fun!
Strawberry Smoothie with Mango and Banana
1 cup frozen organic strawberries
1 banana, peeled and chopped
1 fresh mango – peel and remove seeds, then cut into chunks
1 cup orange juice
1 cup organic vanilla nonfat yogurt (you can substitute Greek yogurt if you prefer less sugar)
Place mango, strawberries, banana, orange juice, and yogurt in a blender. I like my smoothies really chilly so I add some ice to the blend at the end. It also cuts down on the sweetness from the orange juice. Blend until smooth. Makes about 3 servings depending on what size glass you use.
