Experience the warm hospitality of two New Hampshire inns and the beautiful Lake Sunapee, N.H., scenery as you venture out by snow shoe (or hike, depending on snow conditions) during this cozy, eco-friendly weekend adventure.
The adventure starts at the award-winning Rosewood Country Inn, where you’ll have a brief orientation followed by a hearty, four-course dinner the first night. In the morning, enjoy a three-course, “farm to fork” breakfast before heading out on your journey.
Peaceful forest trails will abound as your seasoned guide leads the way from one charming inn to the next. You’ll take along trail lunches as your innkeepers shuttle your luggage to The Candlelite Inn, where in the evenings you’ll enjoy the quiet comfort, warm hospitality and a gracious hearty meal as well as wonderful indoor pampering.
Both The Rosewood Country Inn and the Candlelite Inn are recognized by the state of New Hampshire as “Environmental Partners in Hospitality,” and are committed to pampering guests while proving that one doesn’t need to give up comfort, luxury or service to stay in an environmentally-friendly inn.
The inns have partnered with several local businesses to create an eco-friendly package for guests to experience first-hand “the real New Hampshire and the beauty of the Sunapee Region.”
This adventure is only being offered Jan. 14-16 and March 4-6. The package includes two nights lodging, hearty country breakfasts each morning, fireside dinners each evening, a guided snow shoe trek, trailside lunch on Saturday, and luggage shuttle. Rate is $299 pp/do (snow shoe rental additional $20 pp).
