However, more often than not, celebrities are committed to helping the environment and the people around them. With that in mind we are taking a look at what they are tweeting in relation to their fellow man and the planet. 3. Mark Ruffalo

Mark Ruffalo tweets in support of Water Defense and saving our waterOscar-nominee Mark Ruffalo is a huge activist when it comes to the planet. Most recently, he took to Twitter supporting Water Defense and their cause in saving our water and finding solutions to the water crisis, all while he got prepped for “LIVE! with Kelly.”

4. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus rescues abandoned pup in box at WalmartIf you didn’t know singer/actress Miley Cyrus loves her animals. She constantly promotes animal rescue and adoption. Check out this adorable photo she tweeted. This is just one of her many pups. This week, she found him abandoned outside Walmart and now “Happy” lives happily with Cyrus.
