Are you a pet owner? Is your dog or cat a rescue? Are you someone willing to give shelter pet(s) a loving home? If you answered yes to all of the above, then you’re just the person we’re looking for to enter our next contest.
In continuation to our animal adoption story from yesterday, and to honor those who open their homes to rescue animals, we are holding an animal rescue drawing where pet adoption owners can win all-natural dog or cat toys.
If you’re looking to enter, all you have to do is tell us your wonderful adoption story (in 300 words or less) and you’ll automatically be entered in the drawing. Also, be sure to answer the following questions:
• Why did you adopt/rescue?
• What kind of dog/cat did you bring home?
• What’s your pet’s name?
• How has adopting changed your life?
• Would you encourage others to rescue? If yes, why?
Here’s the best part. We will give out two cat toys and two dog toys. That means we will pick two wonderful rescue cat owners and two wonderful rescue dog owners, as the winners. Yes, you read that right – four winners!
The lucky winners will win all-natural handmade pet toys from Island Time Pets. The toys are made in the USA by Captain Dave of 100 percent cotton nautical rope using traditional nautical knots and splicing techniques.
On Oct. 8, 2012 we will pick the four winners, who will not only receive the prizes stated above, but also have their stories posted on Eco News Network!
Before it’s too late, fill out the following form. We can’t wait to hear all about your adoption process. The best of luck!
*The cat in the photo above is an adult, male, domestic long hair named Mr. Sam, and is available for adoption in Boston, Mass. If you want to give him a home, click here.
