The Ultra Music Festival is an event held in South Beach showcasing electronic music artists. The event expects over 330,000 attendees, which is great for Garbage Gone Glam (GGG) who can show off their sustainable efforts to these thousands of people.
If you’re attending, be sure to check out GGG at the festival’s special ECO-Village. This is the 10th consecutive year the green area will be set up and dedicated to educating others about non-profits, charities and the environment.
The ECO-Village will feature interactive booths, along with its very own personal soundstage with artists and musicians from all over the world.
GGG’s mission is to promote the environment and raise awareness about our “throwaway society.” The website states, “Through fashion shows, environmental expositions, and other events we draw attention to the volume and variety of trash thrown away every day. We aim to inspire a little change in the lives of our audiences and those who join our mission.”
If you’re interested in attending, the festival will be held over two weekends from March 15-17 and March 22-24. Check out both GGG and the Ultra Music Festival’s website for more information.
