Sometimes celebrities get a bad rap for speaking their minds, and even for just being who they are, instead of what everyone else wants them to be. However, more often than not, celebrities are committed to helping the environment and the people around them. With that in mind we are taking a look at what they are tweeting in relation to their fellow man and the planet. Below, are some select tweets by celebrities who are reaching out to their fans, followers and Mother Earth!
1. Miranda Lambert
This week, country singer and animal activist Miranda Lambert rescued an abandoned pup from the roadside. She is trying to find him a home, and hopefully she does!
“I just picked this up on the west side of Tishomingo on hwy 22. Please contact Tish animal shelter if he is yours. pic.twitter.com/9tV407EXk9”
2. Rob McElhenney
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” actor Rob McElhenney recently tweeted his disgust of mail, and its wastefulness. He’d rather have fans send him love via email.

3. Jesse Metcalfe
Not only does Jesse Metcalfe rock it out on TNT’s “Dallas,” but he also rocks it out for the environment. He recently united with a new water project, and just in time for World Water Day.
