Non-GMO Project Presents Non-GMO Challenge for Earth Month

April 24, 2013

Non-GMO Project presents Non-GMO Challenge for Earth MonthIf you’re all about eliminating GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) from your food products, then this contest started by the Non-GMO Project is for you.

In honor of Earth Month, the Non-GMO Project wants you participate in its 2013 Non-GMO Challenge. As the website reads, “[This] is your opportunity to make a meaningful commitment to going non-GMO. For some people this may be one meal and for some it may be an entire month. Join the Non-GMO Project Team in helping to support a healthy food system during Earth Month.”

All you have to do is submit a photo of yourself holding a sign that reads, “For the Non-GMO Challenge I commit to __________.” You fill in the blank with whatever your heart desires.

Currently, the Non-GMO Project is selecting a favorite submission every week. That lucky winner takes home a Non-GMO Dreambox filled with a variety of products.

The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization “committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products, educating consumers and providing verified non-GMO choices.”
