
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries – blueberries are great for their antioxidant power but mixing berries is tasty too
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup organic unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tablespoon ground flax meal or chia seed – flax seed meal and chia offer fiber, healthy fat, and antioxidants
- 1 large (heaping) handful of baby spinach – you can never have enough greens
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Method:
Combine all berry smoothie recipe ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker and add a little water or orange juice if needed to get the desired consistency.
Blend and enjoy!
